The first crit of the series went well. Everything went smoothly - the course is good, the roads are wide and smooth, not much traffic (only one truck during the entire hour) and a fun time was had by all, or so they tell me.
Brian, Adam and Justin went ballistic from the start and things split up around the first prime sprint, so the three of them were chasing each other around, with lots of pain apparent. Brian opened up a gap and was slowly extending it, until Adam and Justin finally got together and by the end were slowly reeling him in. Brian, Adam and Justin were 1, 2, 3 in all the prime sprints. Greg took fourth on all sprints and the final.
Results - Points
1.Brian: 80
2. Adam: 56
3. Justin: 40
4. Greg: 24 (+1 lap)
Result - Time
1. Brian
2. Adam: 23 sec
3. Justin: s.t.
4. Others more than +1 lap
The next crit will be held in two week, Tuesday May 26, same time, same place.

ReplyDeleteEight -- spanning a wide range of speed and experience. I wanted to keep it small the first time, to make it easier organizationally, but if you come out you will be sure to find someone ride / race with.
