Who Can Participate?

For insurance reasons, in order to participate in either the Crit or the TT, riders must:

(1) be a member of Radical Edge Cycling Club; OR
(2) have a valid UCI race licence; OR
(3) be a general member of VeloNB.

For the Crit, you should also have some experience riding in groups. You do not have to have race experience - if you don't, these events will be a good way for you to decide if you like bike racing enough to step up to a full race licence. But the Crit is not the place to learn to ride in a group.

No experience is needed to do the TT.

You can go to the Velo NB website to buy a race licence ($65-$100) or a general membership ($30). We will also sell these at the events. If you don't qualify under (1)-(3), bring $32 (or more if you want a race licence) and two pieces of ID and you can join VeloNB on the spot.

Go to the Radical Edge on Queen St to join the Radical Edge Cycling Club. The cost is $30 and as a member of the club you will also be a general member of VeloNB.

Please bring your race licence / membership card. I will try to have a reasonably recent list of Radical Edge / VeloNB members on hand, but I can't guarantee my list will be complete.
